HRnet is the latest product to be
developed by
Consultants in Data Processing, Inc.,
(CDP). Originally, CDP was
established to provide computer
programming and analysis services to
businesses requiring the expertise
of outside consultants and to assist
in implementing their information
technology objectives. Since its
inception in 1980, well over two
million hours have been provided to
clients by CDP consultants,
programmer, and business/systems
analysts. Clients have included
many of the Fortune 500, in addition
to the U.S. Government, and various
state governments.
In 1995, CDP realized the need
for a quality payroll tax filing
software solution and established
its product development group.
MasterTax, the first product
from this group, was released in
1996. MasterTax was designed for
large corporations with employees in
many states to reliably perform the
requirements of payroll tax payment
and reporting. Over the years,
MasterTax has established itself as
a best-in-class product. In May of
2002, MasterTaxIP, an
on-line version of MasterTax became
available for use.
As part of its continuing
software development efforts, in
February 2002, CDP released the
initial version of the
Andromeda Development Framework,
a rapid development tool for
building Internet applications. The
initial commercial product developed
with Andromeda is HRnet.
Throughout its
existence, CDP has functioned with
